Our first hike since my wife and I had our baby and, for obvious reasons, our son’s first hike. I thought to myself a few days earlier, what should be his first hike? The first thing that popped into my head was, ‘The Old MASH site.’ Not only was it an easily accessible route, not too difficult but difficult enough to be called a hike and not a nature walk, its main reason was that it was cool, I mean, it was where they filmed the 1970s movie and the 11 year run of the television show, how can you loose? Some of my fondest memories growing up are that of sitting in front of the TV with the family as my Dad turned the channel to the witty humor and comic mishaps of the 4077 MASH. Classic.
